TouchDevelop Turing Test

In this brief introduction to programming using TouchDevelop, students create a chatting robot (chat-bot) designed to confuse the friends in to thinking that they are talking to a real person. Also introduces students to Alan Turing and the concept Artificial Intelligence.

Magic 8-Ball

In this introduction to programming, students will create a “Magic 8-Ball” game. The game will work by asking the user to input a yes / no style question and will respond with one of it’s classic predictions such as: “Yes”, “Most likely” and “Outlook not so good”.

8-Bit Challenge

In this lesson, students create 8-bit artwork using touchdevelop and learn how a computer represents an image using binary.

Create an eBook

In this lesson, students will learn how to create an eBook using TouchDevelop. Students will also learn the purpose of components inside a computer such as RAM and the CPU.
